Hill Top

The Hill Top was once home of the famous children’s book author-illustrator, Beatrix Potter.  She acquired this 17th century farmhouse thru royalties from the well-loved book series.  The National Trust opens this home to her fans.  Photography is not permitted in the cottage, but do wander around Near Sawrey.  Who knows, you might run into delightful creatures that brought Jemima Puddle Duck, Samuel Whiskers, Tom Kitten amongst others to life.
