Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park

Are you one of the lucky ones who live near a park?  I envy those residing around the Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park.  It is a two-mile park between the north channel of the Chicago River and McCormick Boulevard.  There’s a paved path for running and biking, lush greenery and a spot for quiet time.  It also has a collection of large-scale contemporary sculptures created by different artists.  When I visited Chicago, I stayed two streets away from this park.  I went for an early walk with my Canon, so I could take pictures at the golden hour…and how I wish I could get up every morning and be visually and spiritually stimulated along with the squirrels and the birds, which are obviously regulars in the park.
